Wounded Vets Fishing Alaska Welcomes You

Hope Is Where the Heart Is

It is with a heavy heart we have news to share. Our founder and original fisherman passed peacefully in his sleep on August 28, 2021.

Harold was a kind, loyal, and spiritual man who always sought to help those in need. His quirky sense of humor and bright smile would carry the energy in any room. He mentored and supported several wounded veterans on their personal journeys. They say he never knew a stranger. He helped so many vets attain the trip of a lifetime, many great memories and tons of fish. May he remain alive in all of you.

His love of country and veterans was strong but above all he will be remembered as a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather uncle, and friend to all.

We are reading all the outpouring of love and please know your messages are sustaining us during this time. The Wounded Vet and Eshleman Family
